For this week i mostly focused on making some more complex objects than i was comfortable with. I still am trying to get comfortable with the software so making recognizable shapes was not the most important thing for me. Some of the objects have definitely sparked some inspiration for potential project ideas in the next few weeks. This object was the first i  made, just a simple memory refresher. This object was kind of like a small, simplistic boat. I chose this shape as it was much like a circle, which is probably going to be a pretty important shape to figure out for this next project.                               Paper crafting is very intricate and delicate. Even though it is not a very conventional method of art making, the results are often stunning. Looking at paper art, it is tough to understand how it was made and it is part of the awe hat goes hand in hand with those masterpieces. I chose to write about   Hoàng Tiến Quyết, the wet folding origami artist who makes organic looking animals out of a thick paper.                    These works are different than traditional origami. Object refinement. During the speed dating sessions i received an overwhelming response to my snake shoes and how it would likely be the best candidate for this assignment. I chose to stick with this despite my love for the tooth piano. People believed that the object had the best potential to progress forward to the next few steps and i suppose i agreed with them. The majority of people said i should make the snakes loop back and forth like an actual shoe lace so i decided to give that a go. I must say i am not super pleased  with it and think its a bit of a flop but spending the past week on it with little to no improvement has made me wave the white flag at this. Mesh Mash Up                                           remix culture                I believe that remix culture is done purely for fun, or for the invention of new useful things in the real world. It puts two things together that do not feasibly work with one another. With this remix method, people are able to get new and different ideas out into the world, whether that be for actual innovation or just following the whimsies of the imagination.          For this assignment i was inspired by Chris Bangle, a former design director for BMW. He spoke of vehicles and their designs and impacts on the world. Specifically on what their position in our lives can be. He states they can lead a life that fades into the back ground and merely act as a means of transportation, or one that stands out and has an assertive position on the roads. Throughout the film, it is stated that the best designs are designs that outlast the aesthetic changes and stick around as long as possible. With these two opinions in mind i decided to try my hand in making a Ferrari. A vehicle that has been prevalent in the sports car community since 1947. While the designs on these vehicles have faced changes they all maintain the same feel throughout the decades since its conception.
