Paper Craft Objects

For this week i mostly focused on making some more complex objects than i was comfortable with. I still am trying to get comfortable with the software so making recognizable shapes was not the most important thing for me. Some of the objects have definitely sparked some inspiration for potential project ideas in the next few weeks. This object was the first i  made, just a simple memory refresher. This object was kind of like a small, simplistic boat. I chose this shape as it was much like a circle, which is probably going to be a pretty important shape to figure out for this next project. Paper Craft Research

                              Paper crafting is very intricate and delicate. Even though it is not a very conventional method of art making, the results are often stunning. Looking at paper art, it is tough to understand how it was made and it is part of the awe hat goes hand in hand with those masterpieces. I chose to write about   Hoàng Tiến Quyết, the wet folding origami artist who makes organic looking animals out of a thick paper.                    These works are different than traditional origami. He is working to create an object very similar to their subject.  As well as this i believe he is distinguishing himself from others making origami works.
